A tribute to a remarkable son.
A gathering place for the community we call home.

MORE THAN A TAPROOM.Orlie’s Taproom is named in honor of Orlie Alan Martin, the son of founders Jason and Andrea Martin, who passed away in 2021.
A brilliant software engineer and lifelong gamer, Orlie was also a devoted son, brother, and friend. His quiet confidence, sense of humor, and curiosity about others made people feel comfortable. He valued relationships over recognition.
Whether gaming, watching sports, or sharing a conversation, he turned ordinary moments into meaningful memories. The welcome you’ll find here is inspired by the way he made people feel.
We wanted the kind of place where people know your name. And we wanted it here, in Maricopa.
After more than thirty years in banking and financial technology, Jason began thinking about what came next. The answer kept returning to the neighborhood taprooms he loved: relaxed gathering places where conversations mattered as much as the beer.
But enjoying that experience often meant driving to Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, or Tempe. Having called Maricopa home since 2012, Jason and Andrea saw an opportunity to create something for their own neighbors.
After losing Orlie, that idea became a mission: honor his memory by building something positive and lasting. Together, they spent years researching, planning, and shaping a place centered on connection. Signing the lease in September 2025 brought that dream one step closer.
As hands-on owners, Jason and Andrea plan to be part of the everyday welcome. Their hope is simple: that you come for a great beer or a glass of wine, and return because it feels like home.

Arizona craft selections, local partnerships, and a place for neighbors to meet. Growing with Maricopa is part of why we’re here.
A game on TV. A board game with friends. A conversation with someone new. These are the moments this place is built for.
We’re grateful to the people and businesses helping bring Orlie’s to life.
